James Gulliver Hancock is an visual artist, illustrator and media maker. Originally from Sydney, Australia, he is drawn to his middle namesake and travels the world creating works in a myriad of locations and spaces worldwide.
Utilising drawing, collage, printmaking, and other traditional crafts he brings these to life in a contemporary sphere. By juxtaposing tactile sensibilities with modern tools he creates new and exciting worlds. His work has appeared in major print, TV and music publishing releases around the world, and has been exhibited internationally every year. He has participated in artist projects in Indonesia, Austria, France, Australia, USA and the UK, taking his whimsical perceptions in philosophy and psychology around the world.
